Ransack Dance Company are returning home to YMa with their new ‘Arrive at Home’ project. Experience an evening of bold new work from 5 exciting emerging choreographers alongside Ransack Dance Company, plus opportunity to feed back to the artists in a relaxed post-show discussion.

About Arrive

The 'Arrive' Project is Ransack's training and professional development project funded by Arts Council of Wales. 

Each year we Arrive at a different host theatre in Wales. Previously we have 'Arrived' at the Memo Arts Centre, Theatr Brycheiniog, The Muni Arts Centre, The Riverfront and Sherman Cymru.

The Arrive Project includes:

1.)Ransack take residency at the hosting theatre for one week to develop brand new work

2.)Free open professional classes for local independent dancers with Ransack, whilst in residency at our host theatre

3.)Workshops for local community youth dance groups, to create a curtain raiser for Arrive Dance Platform

4.)Emerging choreographers/companies apply to share work at Arrive Dance Platform. In the lead up to the platform successful applicants receive free rehearsal space, mentoring and studio sharing opportunities for peer feedback. 

5.)The main Event!.......The Arrive Dance Platform presenting new work from emerging choreographers and companies. All of the work presented is in it's early stages (either newly completed or 'work in progress'). The audience feedback to the artists via feedback forms and a free post-show discussion event.
