Hugh Griffiths 

Hugh has worked on Ransack’s education team for a number of years – delivering film workshops as part of our annual ‘Ransack Your Stories’ summer school. He also works with the professional company – creating documentaries and film trailers of our training projects and professional touring productions! Hugh will lead our new ‘Ransack Film Club’ and film sessions as part of this year’s summer school.

“Hi I'm Hugh! I've been delivering community film projects across RCT since 2008. In this time I've worked with some great partners like the British Film Institute, Ffilm Cymru, the Heritage Lottery Fund, Zoom Cymru and RCT's Youth Engagement and Participation Service. I used to be a microbiologist, but now I do this! I really enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds, mashing up and experimenting with ideas and seeing what we come up with out of all the creative chaos! Fiction, documentary, art-house, music video, local history, science...it's all good!”
